I used to like Yuna-dyed plain fabrics and indigo kasuri fabrics, so when I saw Kumejima Tsumugi, I naturally looked for it.

However, what caught my eye this time was the plain ivory ``Poi'' dye, which is dyed with a decoction of cycad leaves.The dye is repeated about 6 times a day , and when the final mordant is mordanted with alum, this ivory ``Poi'' is created. dyed in color.

This "poi" is the key point, and since it is dyed with plants, the color is very subtle. I feel like it feels a little green (maybe it's just me).

However, depending on the base color and the way you match the obi, I have a feeling that it will make you look handsome, cute, elegant, and more enjoyable!

Kumejima Tsumugi is made using only plant dyes that grow naturally on the island.

The unique feature is that one craftsman carries out the entire process of designing, dyeing, weaving, dyeing, and weaving.
